ROAMAFRICA is a single 11-day expedition through Namibia and Botswana, led by our local guides from Windhoek. Fifteen guests, four departures a year, travelled by land and by light aircraft — from the red dunes of Sossusvlei to the wetland channels of the Okavango.

South out of the city and down the escarpment into one of Africa's largest private reserves — an International Dark Sky Reserve since 2012.

A short move north into the heart of the Namib Sand Sea, with the afternoon deliberately left open.

The classic Namib day, run early so you are off the sand before the heat arrives.

A coastal day split between the water in the morning and the dunes or town in the afternoon.

From dust to water in a single morning — a charter east over the salt pans and into the Delta.

Rooted in the communities of Namibia & Botswana.

Co-guides on every departure are Damara, Herero or Ovambo Namibians — trained in-house and paid above local scale. Lodges are independently or family-owned; food travels less than 200 km from Khomas farms and the Walvis Bay fleet. Five percent of revenue goes to the Namibia Nature Foundation, Save the Rhino Trust and the Cheetah Conservation Fund.
