01 · OVERVIEW

Embark on an epic 11-day journey through Namibia & Botswana.

Eleven days across two countries and five landscapes. You climb Big Daddy at first light, walk the salt pans of Deadvlei, and cross gravel plains where oryx, zebra, bat-eared fox and lizard hold their ground. The road meets the Atlantic at Walvis Bay, turns north to Etosha's waterholes and rhino country, then east on a light aircraft into the channels of the Okavango. Along the way: a desert walk with Bushman trackers, a behind-the-scenes hour at a wildlife sanctuary, mokoro at dusk. By land where the roads make sense, by air where they don't. Fifteen guests, always, with a local guide on every departure.

05 · PRICING & AVAILABILITY

What it costs. When we go.

That's a starting point, not a fixed tariff. The final figure depends on your group, the season and which lodges are open — reach out to Roam Africa and we'll quote your journey.

THE PRICE
€2,000starting at / p.p.

Twelve days, all guiding, vehicles and transfers, and every night of accommodation on the route. What shapes the final number:

  • —Group size — smaller groups carry more of the fixed cost.
  • —Season — the green months differ from peak game-viewing weeks.
  • —Lodges — room categories and availability shift the total.

Full inclusions and exclusions are listed in before you go.

AVAILABILITY

We run this journey in two seasonal windows. Dates aren't fixed — each trip is arranged around your group.

February – May

Green season. Dramatic skies, newborn game and predators on the hunt, fewer vehicles. Wildlife is spread out across lush bush, so sightings take more patience.

Good for birdlife, newborns and photography

August – October

Dry season. Cool mornings, clear nights, and the strongest game viewing of the year — animals concentrate at the waterholes in Etosha and along the Delta channels.

Best months for big game — peak in September & October
